What happened to our old office?

A couple of years ago, we acquired a dedicated 2,200 sq. ft. office space through a strategic partnership with a US-based investor. While it was a big milestone at the time, it eventually started to feel creatively limiting. But within 1 to 2 years, we found ourselves creatively boxed in and got bored with the space. As Skimbox evolved, so did our vision. Founder Aman Shams made the bold decision to scale the company independently, stepping away from the earlier partnership to ensure the business wasn’t bound to one geography, one investor, or one vision. He’s always believed that technology and business must evolve constantly, and Skimbox should be at the forefront of that change—not stuck in a single location or model.

To support this broader mission, Aman launched NasrCapital—his own capital fund company—to reinvest in Skimbox and expand the business in a more agile, futuristic way. This shift also led us to move our headquarters into WeWork spaces in Bengaluru and Dubai, where the tech-driven energy, flexibility, and ongoing innovation perfectly match our culture. The environment—complete with networking opportunities, modern design, and global tech events—helps keep our team motivated and aligned with the latest trends in business and technology.

• Bengaluru WeWork: The company’s original hub continues to grow, with new hires joining across development, design, and marketing.
